One-Day Workshop On
Strategic Decision Making Under Uncertainty
A One-Day Leadership Program for Mid–Senior Level Managers
Date : 29th September 2026
Time : 10:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Venue : MMA Management Centre

Strategic Decision Making Under Uncertainty,
High-Stakes Negotiation & Executive Communication
OVERVIEW
Mid–senior managers are often asked to make consequential decisions with incomplete information, negotiate outcomes under pressure, and communicate those decisions with credibility. These three skills rarely come together in one integrated learning experience — yet in reality, they are exercised in the same conversation, often within minutes.
This program closes that gap. Participants will sharpen judgment under ambiguity, apply it in a live negotiation, and then communicate decisions with executive presence.
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Diagnose Problems – Distinguish complicated, complex, and uncertain challenges
- Reduce Bias – Counteract anchoring, overconfidence, and sunk-cost thinking
- Negotiate Clearly – Use BATNA/ZOPA and principled negotiation to hold ground under pressure
- Communicate with Presence – Deliver decisions credibly even when made under uncertainty
- Commit to Action – Leave with a concrete plan to apply frameworks within two weeks

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

One Day, Three Breakthroughs
Strategic Decision Making Under Uncertainty
Managers often face ambiguous problems where data is incomplete or conflicting. In this session, participants learn to:
- Spot the difference between complicated, complex, and truly uncertain problems
- Apply the Cynefin Framework to diagnose problem types
- Recognize and counteract biases like anchoring, overconfidence, and sunk-cost thinking
Decision Simulation
Theory meets practice. Using a live case simulation, participants:
- Apply the OODA Loop and Scenario Planning to navigate ambiguity
- Work in small groups to test decision frameworks under pressure
- Debrief with facilitators to connect lessons directly to their workplace challenges
High-Stakes Negotiation
Negotiation isn’t just about leverage — it’s about clarity. This module equips participants to:
- Use BATNA/ZOPA mapping to prepare negotiation strategies
- Apply Principled Negotiation (interests vs. positions)
- Handle pressure tactics and power asymmetry through role-play with real-time coaching
Executive Communication
Decisions only matter if they’re communicated with credibility. Participants will:
- Build an Executive Message Architecture to structure high-stakes communication
- Practice delivering decisions made under uncertainty with confidence
- Receive personalized feedback on their communication style and presence
The day closes with:
- Cross-module synthesis to connect decision-making, negotiation, and communication
- A personal commitment plan to apply at least one framework within two weeks
- Facilitator guidance to ensure immediate workplace relevance
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This program is designed for mid‑level and senior managers who sit at the intersection of strategy, negotiation, and communication. These are leaders who:
- Influence strategic decisions – shaping choices that affect business direction, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
- Negotiate with stakeholders – whether with clients, vendors, cross‑functional peers, or senior leadership, they are expected to secure outcomes under pressure without eroding relationships.
- Represent decisions credibly – communicating choices upward to executives and boards, outward to partners, and across teams with confidence and clarity.
- Bridge complexity and execution – translating ambiguous challenges into actionable strategies that teams can rally behind.
- Drive organizational alignment – ensuring that decisions are not only made but also understood, accepted, and implemented across diverse stakeholders.
For managers at this level, the challenge isn’t just technical expertise — it’s the ability to think clearly under uncertainty, negotiate without losing ground, and communicate with executive presence. This workshop equips them with integrated frameworks and live practice so they can perform confidently in the moments that matter most.

Decide with clarity, negotiate with confidence, and communicate with presence — all in one powerful day.
